Anna Sloggett Award

About the Award

The Anna Sloggett Award is given to a dedicated volunteer who has given assistance to the arts community over a long period of time in ways that are largely unrecognized. We appreciate those who get little applause, but continue to give. With each award, we honor Anna Sloggett, WIT’s first benefactor, who lived until the age of 106. A living legend, known for her irrepressible wit, Anna was a talented, dedicated and caring teacher who was young in spirit, an inspiration, and an icon who moved through the years with grace, enjoying life to the fullest.

Always willing to help, with a keen sense for detail, Vivian joins our past recipients in The Anna Sloggett Hall of Fame: Carol Yotsuda, Laurel Petterson McGraw, Delia Valentin, Karen Firl and David P Scott.
